30		 79 Decent visibility, good dives in-shore today. The Indra is quite a diver's playground: upright, intact, easy to navigate, and full of fish!!

80/77		 The FET is always a treat, there was some surface current but lighter on the bottom. Rays, sharks, tons of fish & cobia. The Atlas was murky with a few sharks lurking around.

July 29 Caribe Sea 50 79/71 Good conditions underwater today, a bit rough on top. Lots of action on the wreck: sharks, rays, cobia, even a big octopus.

20		 78/73 Lots of sharks on both wrecks: about 50 big Sand Tigers were hanging out at about 50' on the CS- too many to count. Just like the old days on the Papoose!
July 25 Suloide 40 78 A small turtle scanned the entire wreck and found a nice hiding spot to take a nap.
July 24 Duhamel     A bit windy, but good vis on the Duhamel.

Naeco Bridge		 60 78 Good dives: 5 lionfish spotted on the Stern, 2 on the Bridge. 
July 21 Naeco Bow     2 lionfish still live on the Bow section, and a strange layer of sludge/murk filled the lowest 4" of the wreck. Strange stuff.

78		 Great dive on the Papoose, some sharks teeth were recovered and tons of fish were hanging around. A touch of current on the Ashkabad, but great vis and even a few flounder!

Sub		 60 78 Awesome sea conditions, no current, warm water- it was hard to see the Schurz through all the fish, and a huge ray showed up on the starboard side.

76		 Any dive on the Far East is a good dive, low vis and cool on the bottom, but warm, blue water on top and lots of fish made for a great hang. The usual guys in grey suits were on the Caribe Sea, again a bit murky on the bottom.

June 25 Naeco 100 78 Only saw 2 lionfish today: found one sleeping! We have heard they are nocturnal.
June 24 Far East Tanker & Atlas 100 77 Great conditions on the Far East, brought up some china and saw a few sharks.
Tons of sharks on the Atlas, and good vis too!

70		 79 Great dive on the Naeco: counted 6 lionfish and missed the littlest and biggest ones seen previously: there are at least 8 on that wreck!! Good dive on the Papoose too, but the current picked up during the dive (that means good vis!)

80		 78 The divers counted 6 lionfish, a great dive!
Excellent vis on the Sub, and lots of baitfish action at aobut 50 feet.

80		 78 Clear, warm water on the Papoose, and the Schurz as well!
June 17 Naeco Stern 100 79 A group chartered the boat to get footage of the lionfish for the National Geographic Channel and we counted 5 separate lionfish on the wreck.

Sub		 100 78 Excellent visibility on both wrecks, no current and calm seas. Great day!
June 15 Caribe Sea 50 76 About 15 sharks were in the sand off the bow of the wreck. You could see divers on the bottom from the hang line.

June 12 Naeco Bow & Stern 120+ 79 Fantastic visibility, warm water, turtles, rays, lionfish, pompano, eels, grouper...
These were the 2 best dives of the year!
June 11 Cassimir 100+ 78 Another awesome dive on the Cassimir.

Schurz		 70 77 A sailfish was caught & released on rod & reel while motoring between the 2 wrecks- wow!!
June 9 Schurz 50 77 Diminishing winds made the seas calmer as the day went on, 2 good dives on the Schurz: lots of spadefish, eels and a large frogfish.
June 7 Cassimir 100+ 78 Awesome visibility and water temps, but increasing seas made it a long ride home. However, 2 great dives made the trip easier! The coronetfish are still on the wreck this year.

76		 Caught some Mahi-mahi offshore, then did 2 dives on the Duhamel. Great vis for that wreck, and lots of flounder.

May 27 Ashkabad 80-100' 71 You could see the wreck from the boat, and at the surface the entire wreck was visible- incredible! Lots of fish, like an aquarium. 
May 26 Schurz 70' 73 A good day: flat seas, sunny day, no current and great diving!
May 25 Schurz 80' 71 The Schurz is always full of surprises!!
May 24 Fishing     A good day fishing, 6 dolphin caught.

Papoose		 70' 74 Great day overall, calm seas, great vis, lots of fish both large & small, and sharks on the Papoose. Good water temps for mid-May!

March 25, 2002
A trip to the Duhamel was made today: 55' deep and only 8 miles from the Inlet.
Reported vis was 30' and temps in the low 60's.
A few flounder and an excellent day topside: almost 80 degrees.
